Opus Dance Theatre and Community Services Inc. is the umbrella organization that supports the Opus Dance Theatre Company and the Opus Arts In Education ARISE programs (A Revolution In Student Education). The ODT’s mission is to integrate social values and celebrate cultural diversity through the artistic expression of the performing arts, by providing dance performances, professional development and educational and community programs for all people remains what we strive to achieve. Our mission is to provide the utmost in superior academic education through professional preparation of the first rank in both performing and visual arts. All of our programs meet the NYS Educational Standards in ELA, Social Studies, Common Core Standards & NYC DOE Blueprint Arts. Our faculty is active scholars, artists, and practitioners utilizing discipline and interdisciplinary curricula grounded in excellence.
