SEQARTKIDS is an arts-in-education program that places professional artists in New York City public school classrooms. SEQARTKIDS has, since its inception in 1985, sent 40 teaching artists into 58 public elementary schools where they have provided direct arts education services to over 7,550 children. Our professional artist/educators present time-based arts, including animation, dance, filmmaking, graphic novels, performance art, filmmaking, storytelling, theater, writing, and more to accommodate different learning styles and promote creative thinking through participatory projects which build higher standards of cross-curricular learning.
