Studio in a School Association

Studio in a School NYC (Studio NYC) fosters the creative and intellectual development of children and youth through quality visual arts experiences directed by professional artists. Since its foundation in 1977, our organization has brought in-depth, high quality instruction and engagement to students in New York City public schools and community centers. Today, Studio NYC annually provides visual arts experiences to 30,000 children—from 3K to the 12th grade—in all five boroughs of the city.
